Bobby Fulton announces he has throat cancer

Bobby Fulton, one half of the former NWA tag team, The Fantastics with Tommy Rogers announced Friday night on Facebook that he has been diagnosed with throat cancer.

Fulton, 59, real name James Hines, began his wrestling career in June 1977.  He and tag partner Tommy Rogers have made appearances in Mid-South Wrestling, WCCW, the NWA under Jim Crockett Promotions and a brief stint in the WWF/E.

The Fantastics are two-time NWA US Tag Team Champions, and also held the NWA Mid-American Tag Team Championships.

Fulton is a born-again Christian and has been preaching the Christian gospel since October 2003.

He wrestled his final match on May 26, 2018 for his World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling promotion.

On behalf of the entire staff here at Wrestleview, we would like to wish Fulton the best as he battles this terrible disease.
