Marty Scurll reportedly signs new deal with ROH

According to a new report from PWInsider, Marty Scurll has signed a new deal with Ring of Honor.

It being stated that Scurll and ROH had been working on a deal for some time after Scurll’s last deal expired at the end of November 2019.  

Terms of the new deal, such as length has not been confirmed, although ROH has been working to lock talents into mult-year deals.  

Also according to the same report, Scurll is taking on lead booking duties for ROH. Hunter “Delirious” Johnston remains with the company in a creative capacity and will be working with Scurll, and that going forward he (Scrull) will have the lead position for creative with Johnston.

It is also being said that Scurll was heavily involved behind the scenes in all parts of ROH’s show that took place in Atlanta on Saturday night, at that the upcoming free February 9 event in Baltimore was Scurll’s idea.  

It does appear that Scurll’s new deal will also allow him to continue working for the NWA, as the the storyline with Scurll and Aldis will continue to cross over to both companies as Aldis appeared at Saturday night’s ROH TV taping at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA.
