United Wrestling Network and NWA to launch new weekly PPV beginning September 15

The United Wrestling Network and the National Wrestling Alliance debut a new pay-per-view on Tuesday, September 15 entitled United Wrestling Network Prime Time LIVE!

According to PWInsider, this will be a new weekly 90-minute live PPV series that will air on Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm ET/6:00 pm PT from Thunder Studio in California.  The shows  will be available on all PPV providers, including FITE TV.

It is being said that the weekly price for the PPV is expected to between $13.00 and $15.00 per week.  It was also noted that FITE TV will offer a monthly subscription which will cover the cost of all the live events, including the Video On Demand replays.

Also according to the same report, the primary booking team will be the NWA’s David Marquez, who owns the United Wrestling Network, along with the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis, Aron Stevens and Billy Corgan for content that is specific to the NWA.

All shows are expected to be presented in an empty arena setting with COVID-19 protocals in place.

This is said to seen as an effective way to bring back new NWA content after the promotion had to pause its production following the resignation of VP Dave Lagana back in June amid sexual assault accusations which was part of the #SpeakingOut movement.

This will be the first time wrestling will air live each week on PPV when TNA Wresting launched the weekly PPV model which weekly shows for the cost $9.99 each.
