Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Diaz mentioned Bill Goldberg during a phone interview Monday morning on ESPN2’s First Take show. Diaz was asked by the interviewer what was going through his mind when a fan trespassed onto the field. He said “Instead of tripping him, I wanted to spear him like Goldberg.”
