NWA reportedly holding television tapings in March

According to F4WOnline, the National Wrestling Alliance will hold a set of television tapings from March 21-24.

The NWA’s last set of television tapings were held in late January of last year that carried the company through March for its weekly YouTube show Powerrr.  The last original Power show that aired was in mid-May, that was a one off.

After the NWA ceased with television its TV tapings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Billy Corgan made a deal with AEW and UWN to have their champions appear and defend the titles.  The current NWA Women’s Champion Serena Deeb and former NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa have both been on AEW television since late August of 2020.

The roster for the NWA at the next set of tapings will look drastically different as Thunder Rosa and Eddie Kingston are now in AEW. Caleb Konley, James Storm and Tasha Steelz are now in IMPACT. Eli Drake is now LA Knight in WWE NXT, and Joseph Hudson, most notably known as The Question Mark passed away last Thursday.

It is not known at this time where the TV tapings will take place, or if fans will be allowed in attendance.  Georgia Public Broadcasting Studios in Atlanta, GA has been the TV home for the NWA since its relaunch in October 2019.

We reported on Saturday that the NWA removed all of its videos from its YouTube Channel.  Later that day, we then reported the NWA is planning to make a “good announcement” in the next few days.
