The following was released earlier today:
Bret “Hitman” Hart joined the Toronto Marlies Hockey in Support of March of Dimes Canada.
The Club welcomed legendary Canadian wrestler Bret “Hitman” Hart to Ricoh Coliseum to speak on behalf of Stroke Recovery Canada, a program of March of Dimes. For over 20 years Bret entertained fans around the world winning numerous wrestling championships and has become one of Canada’s most recognizable icons.
Since 2007, Bret has been helping March of Dimes in its mission to educate Canadian stroke survivors on how to “Survive and Thrive” after a stroke.
Bret was honoured to be given the chance to drop the ceremonial puck at the start of the game, and was signing autographs for two periods while having his picture taken with fans. Bret is a true gentleman and is very considerate and thankful towards his fans. He was also appreciative of all the people that were on hand for the autograph signing.
The Marlies provided all supporters of Bret “Hitman” Hart and the March of Dimes special tickets discounted to $20 for side seats, with $5 going to March of Dimes and accessible seats have been discounted to $17 with $2 going to March of Dimes.
