UFC fighter Shane Carwin revealed via his Twitter account this week that Paul Heyman was working with him on promos for production UFC 131 on June 11. The event, which was originally scheduled to feature Brock Lesnar vs. Junior Dos Santos, will now feature Carwin taking Lesnar’s spot. The Wrestling Observer reports this is not a deal with the UFC, but the production company that develops the “Countdown” specials. Spike TV hired Heyman to help with the show as his original role was to help Lesnar promote the fight, but was then asked to help Carwin when Lesnar was forced to pull out due to health issues.
