What led to Kayfabe Commentaries doing their latest “YouShoot” project with Perry Saturn: “Any guest that we choose for YouShoot has to fit a few qualifications, one of which is they have to be a lighting rod in some way. We’ve usually gone the route of choosing controversial characters & controversial individuals in the business for the show, or at least outspoken. It’s going to be someone who can drum up a lot of public interest and elicit a tremendous response. When we learned of Perry’s ‘return to the world,’ and it sounds bizarre, but it’s basically true, we said he may not fulfill the requirements of being outspoken, but he will certainly attract a ton of attention. But he was tremendously outspoken, and he was the perfect, quintessential ‘YouShoot’ guest.”
Why was former ECW Original Danny Doring selected for the next “YouShoot” release: “Danny Doring is a very outspoken & opinionated individual, and he is the real ‘Jersey Shore.’ I don’t know if anyone knows this but Danny Doring is a born & bred, walking advertisement for the real ‘Jersey Shore.’ It’s a wildly entertaining look at professional wrestling from someone who is all Jersey. The world loves loud, brash, outspoken to a fault people from New Jersey. The louder & brazen, the better hence ‘YouShoot’ Danny Doring comes your way on August 9th. Danny worked in ECW & the WWE for a short time, but he was somebody that for his time in ECW, attained almost a worst reputation than a lot of the other guys for his partying ways. He was very much leading the charge for the ECW social scene, and you’ll hear a ton of that.”
