REELZ issued the following statement to PWInsider regarding the status of MLW Underground on the cable network:
“No decisions have been made by MLW or REELZ and we are both committed to a good outcome for MLW, its fans and REELZ.”
Variety recently reported on Wednesday that Major League Wrestling’s deal with REELZ “wraps after ten weeks.” MLW Underground premiered on the cable network back on February 7. Four episodes have aired so far.
The February 21, drew an average of 97,000 viewers. This Tuesday’s episode did not make cable’s top 150 on cable.
On March 1, Peacock added a linear feed of the REELZ network. However, the feed will not live stream MLW Underground Tuesdays at 10:00 pm ET due to Peacock’s deal with WWE.
