Topics covered on this week’s edition of The Teacher’s Lounge for September 3rd:
Title: “Side by Side”
* Mike and Mr. V kick off the show with some Jerry Lewis in celebration of Wrestleview VIP James Lacerenza. Congratulations James on winning the Pepsi Refresh Everything grant worth $10,000!
* Mr. V is not happy with the elimination of the “Food Pyramid” (replaced by the new “MyPlate”), and now so is Mr. Tedesco.
* Mike and Mr. V kick off the show with a look at the “Big Picture” and went in depth on the WWE Stress Levels, Alberto Del Rio’s visa, Kevin Nash once again refuses to job (to a script), Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara, Kurt Angle and his aspirations, and Santino Marella’s automobile accident.
* We then continued with “The TMZ Useless Story of the Week”. This week’s story involved Matt Hardy’s “goodbye” that had many fans wondering if it was a real “goodbye”. To celebrate, we say “goodbye” the only way we could with this attention prostitute. (Note: This will be the LAST time we ever mention his name on our show until he acts like a model citizen.)
* Other topics discussed were the following: Sting’s booking in Mexico, Mick Foley’s talks with the WWE, TNA’s ticket sales for Bound for Glory and their successful Impact tapings in Alabama, Rosita being featured in an NBC Special, Rey Mysterio’s recovery, The status on Matt Morgan and James Storm’s injuries, WWE lower-tier talent concerns, and how Canada got a special treat on Monday Night Raw.
* After a lengthy news portion, we placed many things in the “Teacher’s Lounge” Detention.
* There were many Title, Job, Fires sent by Frank McMahen, Grash, and “Terf from Chicago”. If you want a shoutout in our overview, send us an e-mail like a “good student”.
* We close the show with a couple questions sent by Mr. McMahen regarding CM Punk’s momentum and how CM Punk can be booked as a “universal” character.
* Gold Stars were presented as well. If you want to find out who earned one, listen to the end of the show.
* If you listen to the show then “Today will be a great day”!
