Raymond Rougeau rescues lost friend in Quebec

Wrestleview’s own Greg McNeish sent this in.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reports that former WWF wrestler, Raymond Rougeau, used his own plane to rescue a 77-year old friend lost in the woods of northern Quebec, back on September 18th. They had scheduled to meet up at a remote camp, to head out on a hunting trip, but Rougeau’s friend failed to show up. Rougeau piloted his sea plane, as part of the Quebec Provincial Police search, and discovered the man with his broken-down truck, after covering about 500 km of ground. The friend had been stranded for 2 days, but is in good health.

Raymond Rougeau competed in the WWF from 1985-1990, as one-half of the Fabulous Rougeaus, alongside brother Jacques (The Mountie). He was a French-language announcer for the company until 2002.
