This week’s episode of “Masked Warriors” opens up with highlights from last week and then the intro welcomes us to the show.

In the back Lizmark Jr. is being fitted for a cape, he says this cape reminds everyone who the ruler of LL-USA. He says after Sydistiko & RelliK win the Tag Team Titles he’ll have capes made for them too…just short ones. Sydistiko says he doesn’t have to worry about anything because they’ll win the belts.

Puerto Rican Powers vs. Rudisimo

Both of these teams have qualified for the LL-USA Tag Team Titles Match along with Treachery. Rudisimo shoves PR Powers and then Rudisimo acts as if they’re mad at each other and start shoving each other. Then they act like they’re going to hit each other and then they hug and mock the crowd. They then jump the PR Powers. Rudisimo mocks the fans again and then the PR Powers go after Rudisimo, but the vets cut the PR Powers off and light them up with chops. Rudisimo hits the ropes and charge at the PR Powers but they hit dual Back Kicks to Rudisimo! Oriental falls through the ropes to the floor and then the PR Powers hit Double Back Kicks to Tinieblas Jr. and then they shove him through the ropes to the floor as well. The PR Powers hit a crazy double dive with the San Juan Kid hitting a Somersault Plancha over the top and PR Flyer hitting a Tope Con Giro through the ropes at the same time onto Rudisimo! The PR Powers lay to the crowd and then San Juan Kid looks to hit another dive but Oriental trips him off the apron and slams him into the apron. Oriental tosses SJK into the guardrail and then chop away at him. Oriental tosses SJK back into the ring and covers him for a nearfall. Tinieblas tags in and the rudos whip SJK into the ropes and hit a Double Chop. Ruidismo whips SJK into the ropes and then Tinieblas goes for a clothesline, but SJK ducks only to eat a Spinebuster from Tinieblas. Ruidismo then treats SJK’s legs like a wishbone and then they both kick SJK in the chest. Tinieblas whips SJK into the ropes and hits another Spinebuster and then he spins SJK around in the Giant Swing and Oriental hits a Sliding Dropkick to the head of SJK in the middle of the swing. Tinieblas covers SJK and gets a nearfall.

Oriental lays Flyer out from behind and then Rudisimo takes turns stomping on him. Rudisimo whips Flyer into the corner but Flyer springs to the top and hits a Moonsault onto Oriental! 1…2…NO Tinieblas breaks it up! SJK comes in but Tinieblas kicks him off with a front kick. Tinieblas then charges at him but SJK sidesteps him sending Tinieblas out to the floor again. SJK hits a Springboard Corkscrew Asai Moonsault onto Tinieblas on the floor! In the ring SJK and Oriental are exchanging punches as the hooded man runs in again this week! SJK and Oriental both jump the hooded man in black and Oriental tosses him to the floor. Another hooded masked man comes in and hits SJK with a Big Boot as the referee and Oriental are distracted by the first hooded masked man! Oriental rolls SJK up with a La Magistral Cradle…1…2…3!

Winners: Rudisimo via pinfall (La Magistral Cradle)

The announcers (and me) are confused as hell trying to figure out what the deal with these hooded men. It looked like “SL” was on the back of the hooded man’s robe.

In the back Rebecca Reyes chases the hooded guys through the back but they run to the parking lot and peel off in a car. She finds one of their robes that they dropped and confirms that it says “SL” on the robe.

We cut to The Right who are looking at one of Super Nova’s mask and they talk about taking all of the Luchadors masks. Petey says they should start a museum for all of the masks they’ll be taking.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Tonight was another fun LL-USA show with some really good wrestling. There was literally no good promos or vignettes tonight though. The Pequeno Halloween thing was funny but really the only promo all night was Hurricane’s and that’s never been his strong point.

The opener was another fun tag team match. LL-USA is really trying to establish the tag teams more with the Tag Titles match coming up. This hooded villains thing is interesting and I have no idea where it will go because they seem to help Treachery one week and attack them the next.

Sydistiko-Marco had a fun little match going on when Treachery jumped in. Hurricane in LL-USA will be fun because he’s always had a more high flying style. I think he will only be on a few shows, however, because he had that bad motorcycle wreck earlier this year and missed several TV tapings.

Mask vs. Hair (and Mask vs. Mask and Hair vs. Hair) is a HUGE part of Lucha Libre so bringing that into LL-USA was bound to happen and needed to happen. Brewer loses a little heat by losing his first two big matches (the Title match and this one). But we got a guy who is kind of using a “white power” type of gimmick (without technically using race) now with a shaved head. A skinhead. I wonder how they’re going to play that up. Things are definitely getting interesting though.
