The family of Steve “Mongo” McMichael has taken to social to provide an update on the former Chicago Bear and WCW star.
McMichael is scheduled to be released from the hospital on Thursday.
McMichael was hospitalized back on February 15 with suspected pneumonia. However, on February 17, he ended up being treated for MRSA and had a blood transfusion.
Earlier this month, it was announced that McMichael will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is set to take place in Canton, Ohio on August 3, 2024.
McMichael is battling ALS, which he was diagnosed with in January 2021.
