Matt Cardona took to social media, announcing that he is starring in a new western movie called “Down the Long River.”
There is currently an Indiegogo page set up to raise funds of $30,000 to help with production of the film.
The film tells the story of the aftermath of the Civil War, in which a former Army surgeon, a notorious gang, and a duplicitous Pinkerton agent cross paths in a forgotten river town. With revenge and a fortune in gold at stake, the town is caught in the crossfire.
Cardona is currently out of in-ring action due to a torn pectoral muscle.
