According to a report from KHBS in Arkansas, Kevin Nickel, known on the wrestling independent scene as Ivan Warsaw and Knuckles Madsen in NXT back in 2013, was tragically shot and killed very early Saturday morning in Arkansas.
Lt. Shannon Jenkins, spokesperson for the Benton County Sheriff’s Office told KHBS that, Nickel, 41, was shot and killed in the area of East Highway 12 in east of Rogers, just after midnight.
KHBS further notes that when deputies arrived on the scene, Nickel was bleeding from his abdomen. He later died at a local hospital.
At time of the report, the sheriff’s office is not releasing any further details or information about the killing.
