Breakdown of WWE and TNA television ratings (8/3 to 8/8)

Television ratings for WWE and TNA from August 3 to August 8, 2014.

WrestleMania 30 Special: The 8/3 special on NBC drew a 1.47 broadcast rating with 2.54 million viewers. It was the first time the show had been broadcast on a Sunday as a lead-in for NFL preseason football. It was up from last year’s special that drew 1.92 million viewers.

WWE RAW: The 8/4 show drew a 2.86 cable rating with an average of 4.05 million viewers. The show finished at No. 2 for the night on cable behind TNT. It continues to perform well among the top 25 cable shows every week coming in at No. 5, No. 6 and No. 8.

TNA Impact Wrestling: The 8/7 show drew a 1.09 cable rating with 1.41 million viewers. The only major sports competition the show had was NFL preseason football (1.81 million viewers). In demographics the show drew a 0.7 among males 18-34 and 0.9 among males 35-49.

WWE Smackdown: The 8/8 show drew a 1.89 cable rating with 2.64 million viewers. It ended up at No. 1 for that Friday night on cable.
