Yoshi Tatsu gives an injury update, suffers a broken neck

Former WWE and current New Japan star Yoshitatsu gave the following injury update on Twitter today after being pulled from the New Japan World Tag League this past Saturday (11/21) with a neck injury:

“Results came out. From a conclusion, neck of the bone had broken in two places. Game video, from such as broken way, it is surely that it and was broken at the time of 11/8. For the first time of hospitalization was born. Can not sleep for long ago off time has passed.”

Tatsu suffered the injury during his match with AJ Styles at the 11/8 New Japan “Power Struggle” iPPV in Osaka, in Tatsu’s first match back with New Japan, taking a bad landing on a Styles Clash and landing right on his head & neck. Tatsu worked the first night of the World Tag League on 11/21, teaming with IWGP Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi in a loss to Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI. It is unknown how long Tatsu will be out of action as of this writing.
