Former IWGP and TNA Champion AJ Styles, former IWGP Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Doc Gallows (aka former WWE star Luke Gallows) and Karl Anderson have all given notice to New Japan Pro Wrestling following Wrestle Kingdom 10 and have agreed to terms on deals with WWE according to multiple reports by Dave Meltzer and MLW Radio.
New Japan Pro Wrestling booker Gedo was informed at Monday morning’s Wrestle Kingdom 10 event at the Tokyo Dome that the talent would be finishing up. Nakamura, who is the current IWGP Intercontinental Champion, isn’t expected to finish up as quickly. New Japan currently has a one year contract system that normally expires in January.
Styles, who left TNA in early 2014, wasn’t currently under contract with New Japan. Karl Anderson was reportedly close to signing a deal with TNA when a WWE offer came into play. Nakamura, Gallows and Anderson are all expected to honor remaining dates they have scheduled with Ring of Honor. Styles is likely finished with ROH however.
