The following took place on Monday in Orlando, FL.

TNA Impact Tapings for March 5:

Note: This taping may only be part of the show.

– Don West was not announcing with Mike Tenay.

– TNA X Division Champion Alex Shelley defeated Kiyoshi. After the match, Suicide appeared and took out Shelley again.

– LAX challenged Beer Money, Inc. for the TNA World Tag Team Titles.

– Mick Foley and Sting come out to the Impact Zone. Foley talked about Mickey Rourke not winning the Oscar and how he could have ended up like Randy the Ram if he hadn’t dropped an elbow on Sting all those years ago. He said Sting saved his career. Foley then said that TNA needs Sting and that Sting should leave the Mafia. Sting says he appreciates the words, but he just can’t let Kurt Angle run the Mafia and said he has no problems with Kevin Nash, Booker T or Scott Steiner. Kevin Nash walks out and says he thought “The Wrestler” sucked and tells Foley to shut up. He tells Sting that Foley is in the office and not really one of the boys. Sting said that Angle didn’t respect him when he spit in his face. Nash said they can battle and no matter what, the TNA World Title will stay in the family. He tells Sting that decision is up to him.

– Kurt Angle and Jay Lethal appear brawling from the back wearing suits. Angle lays out Lethal and takes his suit.

– LAX defeated TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. via DQ when they hit Hernandez with a steel chair. Team 3D hit the ring and challenged Beer Money to a match at Destination X.

– Kurt Angle walks out and calls out Jeff Jarrett. He promises to eat up Jarrett and that Sting will be the main course at Destination X. Jarrett walks out and he brawls with Angle through the Impact Zone. Jarrett throws Angle out of the building and slams the door on him. Jarrett, Team 3D and Mick Foley all celebrate in the ring.
