The Tokyo Dome show from January 4 featuring TNA talent for the next “Global Impact” special is scheduled to air in March, but a confirmed date is not known at this time. There are said to be no plans to release a DVD of the show this year like they did last year. It will be a one hour special featuring the following matches: Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash & Masahiro Chono & Riki Choshu vs. Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano & Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson (which is being pushed as the main event when it wasn’t), Team 3D vs. Togi Makabe & Toru Yano for the IWGP Tag Team Titles and The Motor City Machineguns vs. Yujiro & Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP Jr. Tag Team Titles. Kurt Angle will be heading back to face Hiroshi Tanahashi for the IWGP Heavyweight Title on April 5 at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan (the same day as WrestleMania 25).
