Sonjay Dutt can be added to the list of departing talents from TNA Wrestling over the last two weeks reports PWInsider. According to reports, Dutt and TNA were unable to come to terms on a new deal and he has left the company. This move has caught many within TNA by surprise as he was a big part of the company’s face/promotion in India where Impact has done very well.
Dutt’s name was still being tossed around in company plans internally as of last week, so it is possible they could still be working on locking him into a new deal by this weekend. There remains no word on where this will leave plans for So Cal Val in the company as she had been working as his valet. Dutt’s profile has already been removed from TNA’s website.
Dutt joins Petey Williams, Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave in names who have all either been released or have not agreed to new deals with TNA in the last two weeks.
