TNA going head to head with WWE Raw

Update: Hulk Hogan officially announced on tonight’s UFC “Ultimate Fighter Finale” in Las Vegas alongside Joe Rogan that Monday, January 4 would feature a special three-hour edition of TNA Impact going head to head with WWE Monday Night Raw. TNA President Dixie Carter and Eric Bischoff were also in attendance and were shown on camera.

The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online is reporting that within the next hour or so, TNA Wrestling is expected to announce a special three-hour live show on Monday, January 4 featuring the official debut of Hulk Hogan and other debuts. The early feeling is that when WWE finds out they will schedule a three-hour Raw on USA to go head to head in what will be a short lived return of the Monday Night Wars. At this point TNA only has one Monday night show planned, but depending how the ratings do they could do more shows and even make it a permanent move.
