TNA Destination X PPV Preview

TNA returns to PPV on July 8th with it’s annual “showcase” of the daredevil X-Division with the longest reigning X-Division Champion in history earning his very first World Heavyweight Championship shot against the “IT Factor” of Professional Wrestling Bobby Roode.
Also, on the card a brand new X-Division Champion will be crowned at the culmination of a one-night Tournament. Over the course of the last two weeks four X-Division stars qualified for slots in the tournament. Rashad Cameron (aka BLK Jeez) defeated Mason Andrews (aka Scorpio Sky), Sonjay Dutt defeated Rubix (aka Jigsaw), Kenny King defeated Lars Only (aka Johnny Yuma), and Flip Casanova (aka Flip Kendrick) defeated Dakota Darsow to earn slots in the tournament. Current X-Division stars Kid Kash, Zema Ion, & Doug Williams automatically qualified for the Tournament as well. Also, Destination X will open up with a big Fatal 4-Way featured the four wrestlers that lost their qualifying matches (Rubix, Mason Andrews, Lars Only, & Dakota Darsow) with the winner earning the final slot in the Tournament.
The winners of each of the four Tournament Matches will then battle in the high flying Ultimate X Match to crown a new X-Division Champion!
The BFG Series continues as one of TNA’s most storied rivalries is reborn when the “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe faces “The Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle with BFG Series points on the line!
AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels take their heated rivalry one step further in a Last Man Standing Match with AJ out for blood.
In the Main Event “The Greatest Man in the World” gets his shot at the crown, trading in his X-Division Championship Austin Aries gets a shot at Bobby Roode and the World Heavyweight Championship. Roode has spent the past month telling everyone that he is above the X-Division while Aries has spent the past month trying to prove what the X-Division can offer. He gets that shot on Sunday night with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line!
