Mike Johnson is reporting that TNA has begun contacting a number of talent to inform them that they have been released from their contract as part of a cost-cutting measure. Former TNA Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne and former Gutcheck winner Sam Shaw are the first two that have been cut by the company.
UPDATE as of 1:08 PM ET: PWInsider has corrected its original story, stating that Shaw has not in fact been released by TNA.
