To follow up on a series of reports on Sunday regarding TNA’s expected new television deal, multiple wrestling media sources are reporting on Monday that a new multi-year deal with another network is most likely already completed and could be announced as early as this Wednesday. The new deal would keep Impact Wrestling on television for at least another two years with the potential for additional programming.
This new deal, which is expected to be with Destination America (owned by Discovery Communications), was described as bringing in less money than the previous deal with Spike TV. As noted over the weekend, Spike TV wants to get out of the wrestling business and that was always considered the case since news broke a few months ago about Impact Wrestling not being renewed by the network.
