Kurt Angle cleared of charges in court

According to WTAE Channel 4 in Pittsburgh, PA, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle was found not guilty of harassment, drug charges and driving with a suspended license on Tuesday. District Judge Carla Swearingen cleared Angle on harassment charges related to the PFA (protection from abuse) filed by Trenesha Biggers (Rhaka Khan). Biggers declined to comment to the media as she left court today. Video of Angle’s comments are at this link where he gets quite emotional.

The judge also dismissed charges against Angle on driving with a suspended license (which stems from Angle’s refusal to do a breath test on an unrelated DUI charge that he overcame in trial in 2007) and drug possession related to two vials of HGH (human growth hormone) being found in Angle’s car. Angle presented a prescription for HGH and stated he continues to use it for an ongoing condition related to previous neck injuries.

Angle is scheduled to be back in court next month to defend himself against the PTA (protection from abuse) and simple assault charge that was also filed against him. He has stated that he never physically harmed Biggers.
