Jeff Hardy

LA Weekly is featuring an interview with TNA star Jeff Hardy where he talks about wanting to end his wrestling career in a Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania.

The article describes his current stint with TNA as being “underexposed on Pop TV, a network most wrestling fans haven’t even heard of.”

“Man, I want to Swanton [a forward flip that’s Hardy’s finishing move] off the top of the cell, onto the commentary table. Then, I want to climb the cell, cut the f*cking cage, when Taker’s back in the ring, and Swanton though the cage, miss, and then Tombstone 1-2-3.”

Hardy revealed he remains under contract with TNA until February 2017 and would be open to a negotiation with WWE, but wasn’t interested in a full-time schedule again.

  1. WWE would never risk Undertaker’s health and career on this fool. Maybe they will bring back Hardcore Holly for a final match for Jeff.

  2. That’s the way a smart WWE would look at things. Instead, they’ve ruined the careers of what could’ve been several future stars of the company by feeding them to Taker’s over-long joke of a “Streak”, only to have it ended by a man who will soon leave to return to the recently-sold UFC (if they allow him after failing multiple drug tests).

Jeff losing a match to Matt’s son in a kiddie pool would get a bigger rating & reaction than a ‘Mania match of Taker vs. anyone these days (unless he negotiated to bring his wife back to the company, too).
