Former WWE star Damien Sandow made his official TNA debut on Thursday night during Impact Wrestling on Pop TV debuting under the new name of Aron Rex.
Rolling Stone first teased his signing with TNA on Wednesday and then later confirmed in an interview with Rex that he had officially signed with TNA.
Rex was released by WWE back on May 6 and made a series of appearances for independent wrestling promotions. He noted in the interview he wasn’t planning on signing with another wrestling promotion immediately, but said TNA was “the perfect spot for me.”
