The Inner Circle makes their way to the ring to kick off Dynamite and we start things off with a 10-man tag. Taz is on commentary tonight, no Excalibur.

10-Man Tag Team Match
The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz & Sammy Guevara) vs. The Best Friends, Orange Cassidy & Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy)

This is Sammy’s first match back since being suspended for the comments he made about Sasha Banks on a podcast a few years ago. Hager and OC start things off with Hager tossing OC around. OC comes back with a dropkick before The Inner Circle mugs him in their corner. The babyfaces hit the ring and mayhem ensues.

Eventually a bunch guys end up on the floor and Taylor hits a Somersault Plancha onto the pile followed by a gorgeous Asai Moonsault from Trent. Lucha sets up for a dive but eats a Forearm Smash from Santana. Jungle Boy then dives off Lucha’s shoulders into a Rana on Santana sending him into his partners. Lucha tosses Marko at Hager on the floor but Hager catches him and tosses him back to Lucha. Stunt then climbs on Lucha’s back and Lucha dives onto Hager!

Best Friends and Friends hug in the ring and Sammy tries to break it up with a Cross Body but he misses and the babyfaces beat him down. OC whips him into the corner and all of them take turns sandwiching him. Hager kills a charging Trent with a Forearm Smash, though. Jericho tags in and jumps on Trent before tagging Hager. Inner Circle corners Trent in their corner and make quick tags, while beating him down.

Trent tries to fight out but Santana pulls him outside where Ortiz DDTs him on the floor. Santana follows up with a German Suplex on the floor. Back in the ring, Santana hits a Vertical Suplex and tags Jericho. All of the Inner Circle beat Trent down in their corner again. Jericho whips Trent into the corner and charges right into a boot. Trent follows up with a Missile Dropkick off the top but Ortiz tags in and cuts Trent off from making a tag. PNP hits a Double Suplex on Trent and then Santana hits a Moonsault off the back of his partner for a nearfall.

Ortiz tags Hager and he beats on Trent for awhile before tagging Guevara. Guevara hits a Samoan Drop for a nearfall. Trent catches Sammy with a rollup for a quick nearfall but then eats a big Lariat before Sammy tags Hager back into the match. The Inner Circle continues to beat on Trent in their corner while making quick tags for several minutes.

Trent finally manages to break away and make the hot tag to Lucha. Lucha hits a series of strikes on PNP and goes for a Chokeslam on Sammy but Hager cuts him off. Lucha and Hager break into a hoss fight and Hager gets the better of it with a Lariat. Lucha’s mask actually fell off during that spot. PNP hits a Powerbomb/Knee Strike combo but Best Friends catch Santana with the Half and Half/Sole Food combo. Jericho hits Trent with the Codebreaker but Jungle Boy hits Jericho with a Backstabber. Sammy hits a GTS to Jungle Boy but then eats a Tail Whip from Lucha!

Jericho was going to hit Lucha with his bat but OC takes it away and throws him into the crowd. Sammy hits a Flying Knee to Lucha and then he climbs to the top. Matt Hardy’s music hits and he appears on the apron where he shoves Sammy off. Lucha hits Sammy with the Spinning Enziguri for the pin. The referee was looking at the entrance tunnel when Hardy appeared.

Winners: Best Friends, Jurassic Express and Orange Cassidy via pinfall (Spinning Enziguri)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—–

Earlier today, Jon Moxley cuts a promo backstage. He says he tries to stay out of other people’s ways and he thought his issues with Brian Cage were over until he started going after Darby Allin. He said if he watched as Cage did that to Allin it would make him a “punk bitch” and says speaking of “punk bitches” Ricky Starks should see if he can try and bully him tonight. He says he doesn’t start fights, he ends them.

TNT Championship
“American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (16-1) (c) w/Arn Anderson vs. “Warhorse” Jake Parnell (0-0)

This is Warhorse’s AEW debut. He is an Indy wrestler that wrestles a ton in the south. I actually saw him at an IWA-Deep South (don’t judge me for going to one of their shows) in an incredible match with Gary Jay. He’s been getting a lot of social media attention this year.

They lockup and sort of come to a stalemate for a couple of minutes until Cody catches Warhorse with a rollup, but Warhorse counters into a nearfall. Warhorse follows up with an Armdrag and holds on to an Armbar. Cody tries to muscle out of it and slam him but Warhorse holds on with a Rolling Armbar. Cody manages to break the hold and leapfrogs Warhorse before taking a powder on the outside.

Anderson tells Cody not to let his anger get in his way and back in the ring, Cody catches Warhorse with a Side Headlock Takeover. They both hit the ropes and Warhorse catches Cody with a Lariat.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Cody has Warhorse locked in a Half Crab. During the break, Cody hit a big Superplex on Warhorse to take control. Cody transitions into a Figure Four but Warhorse almost immediately reverses it forcing Cody to get to the ropes to break it. Warhorse dropkicks Cody into the corner and hits a Running Clothesline followed by a second one. Warhorse hits a series of elbows and then a clothesline. Warhorse traps Cody’s arms and starts stomping his face.

Warhorse goes to the top but Cody rolls to the floor to get away from him. It wasn’t far enough, however, as Warhorse hits a Ghetto Stomp off the apron to the back of Cody as he was kneeling. Back in the ring, Warhorse hits a Macho Man-like Flying Elbow Drop for a close nearfall. Warhorse goes for a Piledriver but Cody counters into the Alabama Slam for a nearfall of his own.

Cody goes back to the Figure Four but Warhorse catches him in an Inside Cradle for a nearfall. Cody goes for a Sunset Flip but Warhorse sits down on it and gets another nearfall. A frustrated Cody charges into a boot from Warhorse. Warhorse goes up top and dives off but Cody moves out of the way. Warhorse injures his leg on the landing and Cody kicks him in the knee before locking in the Figure Four for the submission.

Winner & STILL TNT Champ: Cody via submission (Figure Four)

After the match, The Dark Order runs out and Warhorse tries to help Cody but they dispatch of both of them. Zack Ryder then hits the ring and takes out Dark Order!

As Schiavone is talking about All Out on PPV, The Inner Circle interrupt him and say that they are tired of what is going on in AEW. Guevara calls Hardy a son of a bitch and says it isn’t over with him. Jericho says that OC has been causing issues and if he wants a rematch he will give it to him on Aug. 12 on Dynamite. Jericho demands that if he beats OC then he has to give him $7,000 to pay for the jacket that OC ruined a few weeks ago. Also, next week Jericho challenges OC to a debate with a special guest moderator. He says he wants to beat him up mentally and physically.

Earlier today, Schiavone was with FTR as they were looking over their AEW contracts. They say they want a shot at the tag titles and know they have to be signed to get it but they have a special tag team expert to look over their contract. Arn Anderson looks over their contract and he signs off on it. As a part of the contract, Tony Khan agreed to allow Aug. 12 be “tag team appreciation night” hosted by FTR. They finally sign their contracts and Adam Page walks in with some drinks to celebrate.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

The Dark Order (8-0) vs. Adam Page & Kenny Omega (11-0)

Dark Order attack Omega and Page and immediately isolate Omega in their corner. Grayson gets a nearfall with a Sidewalk Slam. Dish hates me so the signal was lost but comes back as Page hits a Standing Shoot Star Press for a nearfall. Omega tags in and the champs light up Uno with some chops and slaps. Anna Jay is shown to be a new member of The Dark Order.

Page tags in and hits a Cowboy Kick on Uno and knocks Grayson off the apron. Page hits a Fall Away Slam and knocks Grayson off the apron again. Page clotheslines Uno to the floor and then hits a Slingshot Plancha on Grayson. Uno moved, though, and tosses Page into the ring post. Omega comes over but Uno tosses him into the barricade.

In the ring, Uno gets a nearfall on Page and then starts biting Page’s hand. Uno tags Grayson and then whips him into a Shoulder Block in the corner on Page. Omega fights them off but eats a Flying Knee from Grayson and then he Belly-to-Belly Suplexes Omega into Page in the corner. Grayson hits a 450 Splash on Omega off the top while Uno hits a Cannonball onto Page in the corner. 1…2…NO Omega kicks out!

Grayson hits a Frog Splash on Omega but then walks into a Lariat from Page. Page hits a Powerbomb on Uno and then Omega hits him with the V-Trigger to the back for a nearfall. Omega and Page hit the Last Call for the pin.

Winner & STILL Tag Champs: Adam Page and Kenny Omega via pinfall (Last Call)

Brodie Lee smacks Uno around after the match as Page laughs. Lee gets pissed off as The Young Bucks walk down, as well. Lee taunts Omega and Page about their past issues. Lee says that the Dark Order is everywhere and they have strength in numbers. Lee says that Page has pissed him off for the last time. A ton of guys in Dark Order masks surround the ring but FTR run out with a cooler and hit Lee with it!

FTR hits the ring and The Elite and FTR fight off the Dark Order guys.

Britt Baker is shown sitting near the announce table. She says that she knows Big Swole is going to be in the upcoming tournament but she knows more than anything Big Swole wants to get her hands on Baker. Baker says that after careful consideration, she has decided to give Swole a shot at her if she can beat an opponent of her choosing. Baker says that it is still her division.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A vignette hypes up Diamante. She says that a win over Shida will shoot her straight to the top and she is going to make all of the other girls in AEW feel her. She says she will get things done by any means necessary and that she has nothing to lose but everything to prove. “Even if I have to give my last breath to win this match then that’s what I’ll do,” she says.

Hikaru Shida (14-1) vs. Diamante (2-2)

Diamante is wearing her old LAX gear. She pie faces Shida when she offered a handshake before the match. Diamante takes Shida down and mounts her but Shida tunrs it around and they end up rolling out to the floor. Shida hangs Diamante up on the barricade and hits her with a Running Knee.

Back in the ring, Shida hits a Flying Knee Drop for a nearfall. Shida hits a series of Shortarm Forearm Smashes but Diamante answers with a series of elbows. They exchange strikes and finally Shida goes for a Suplex but Diamante blocks it and elbows Shida. Shida comes back with an elbow and then a Flying Knee.

Shida lifts Diamante up to the top turnbuckle but Diamante shoves Shida off onto the top rope. Diamante hits a series of elbows and chops and then a Wheelbarrow Stunner for a nearfall. Diamante kicks Shida in the gut and goes for a Code Red but Shida stumbles so Diamante just rolls her up for a nearfall. Diamante goes for a Suplex but Shida counters into a Delayed Falcon Arrow for a nearfall.

Shida hits the Flying Knee for the pin.

Winner: Shida via pinfall (Flying Knee)

The Deadly Draw rules for the upcoming women’s tag team tournament are announced. The tournament will be a random draw with each woman drawing a color. The women with matching colors will be partners.

Earlier today, Dasha interviews Nyla Rose but Vickie Guerrero cuts her off and says it doesn’t matter who her partner is because that trophy is hers. Nyla draws her color and it’s purple. The former Cameron from WWE appears and says she also drew that color.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

MJF is out for his “State of the Business” address with Wardlow. MJF demands fans use hash tags #MJF2020 and #NotMyChampion. MJF talks about not being spotlighted two weeks in a row and says it’s because a certain individual is afraid of being upstaged two weeks in a row. He says it is time for a change and he mentions a certain person that mentioned a “paradigm shift” in wrestling but says that someone at the top of the card getting to do and say whatever he wants and wrestle whoever he wants simply because he came “from a place of Titans” isn’t something “new.” He says Moxley is not his champion.

MJF says it is time to talk about all of the negative side effects that have occurred since Moxley won the title. He says that wrestling is on the marquee but all he sees is guys flipping and flying and almost dying just to try and convince people they are good. MJF says a world champion is supposed to lead by example and not walk around cosplaying as another wrestler, “and that is a Stone Cold fact.” MJF says that on average MJF draws higher ratings than Moxley.

MJF says that he is the guy that will lead AEW into the future and he promises that he will not stop until they stop glad-handing about being an “alternative” and become the pinnacle of professional wrestling. MJF challenges Moxley to a World Title match at All Out.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

No DQ Tornado Tag Team Match
Jon Moxley (14-1) & Darby Allin (7-7) vs. Brian Cage (6-1) & Ricky Starks (3-1) w/Taz

Starks says he was recruited by Taz is because he saw that he was different. Starks says that Allin dresses like Pig Pen and wrestles like a crash test dummy. As Cage and Starks make their entrance, Allin hits a Coffin Drop on them off the entrance tunnel!

Cage and Moxley brawl down near the ring, while Starks and Allin fight on the ramp. Allin tries a dive on Cage on the outside but he catches him only for Moxley to nail him with a Tope Suicida. Starks hits a Spear on Allin off the apron as Moxley pulls out a trashcan.
