Non-Title Match
“The Cleaner” Kenny Omega w/Michael Nakazawa vs. Alan “5” Angels

This is a rematch from their match last year that ended up getting Angels signed. Angels attacks Omega with a dropkick and hits a series of rights but Omega shrugs him off and lights him with chops. Omega chokes Angels in the ropes but then Angels catches Omega with a Leg Lariat as he came off the ropes. Omega goes for a Back Suplex but Angels counters and then counters a Snap Dragon with an Armdrag.

Omega gets his boots up at a charging Angels and hits a Leg Lariat followed by a series of kicks and a Bulldog for two. Omega hits a modified Atomic Drop and goes for the V-Trigger, but Angels moves and rolls Omega up for two. Omega immediately charges at Angels and eats an Enziguri. Omega charges at him again and Angels sidesteps causing Omega to crash to the floor. Angels hits a Tope Suicida sending Omega into the barricade.

Omega runs Angels into the ring apron and then into the barricade. Omega tries to throw Angels into the ring but Angels 619’s under the ropes and then hits a Diving Moonsault off the top! Back in the ring, Angels hits a Flying Cross Body for two! Angels goes back to the top and attempts a Frog Splash but Omega got his knees up. Omega hits a Buckle Bomb and a Sky High for two.

Omega goes for the Tiger Driver but Angels blocks it only for Omega to hit a series of palm strikes. Omega attempts the Tiger Driver again but Omega blocks it again and hits a series of elbows and kicks. Omega connects with a series of straight rights but Omega fires back with forearms. Omega goes for a Snap Dragon but Angels blocks it and Omega slaps him and goes for the One Winged Angel. Angels counters into a rollup for two but Omega gets right back up and destroys him with a V-Trigger! 1…2…NO Angels kicks out and Ryan Satin’s head just exploded! Omega hits another V-Trigger and then a third one for the pin.

Winner: Omega via pinfall (V-Trigger)

After the match, Omega says he has the power to giveth and the power to taketh away. Nakazawa hands Omega a chair and he goes to hit a One Winged Angel onto the chair but Page’s music hits and Omega lets him go!

Omega goes to hit Page with the chair but Angels pulls it away just as Page goes for the Buckshot Lariat! Omega rolls underneath it and slides out of the ring as Page stares him down.

Page picks up the world title and says he thinks Kenny forgot something and lays it down and tells Omega he’s got 10 more days to hold that.

It’s revealed that Miro is replacing Moxley in the World Title Eliminator.

A Malakai Black vignette airs and he says that him being barred from ringside will have no effect on the match tonight. Black says that when Julius Caesar as assassinated, it wasn’t just Marcus that betrayed him.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

CM Punk makes his way down to the ring and he says that he isn’t particularly in the best mood tonight. He says that there is two people that aren’t here tonight and one of them has a very real reason not to be here and that is the name he wants to hear chanted: Jon Moxley. Punk says that he and Moxley aren’t “super tight” but last night the situation was explained to him and he knows how it feels to be sick and feel like you have to show up for work before finally decided you have to do what is best for you. “I am god damn proud of him,” Punk says. Punk says that if anyone is in a place that they feel like they need help, ask for it no matter how it was.

He says the second guy that isn’t here tonight is Eddie Kingston and he mocks Kingston for getting in his face last week and not showing up tonight. Punk says if Kingston has the balls he’ll be waiting for him in St. Louis Friday to accept his apology in person.

Miro cuts a promo backstage and says that’s he been waiting for God’s message and asks if this chance tonight is God talking to him or is toying with him. Miro says the road ahead will be paved with the skulls of those that get in his way.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews the Super Klick and Adam Cole calls last week a fluke and says they will remind everyone what they are made of. Nick says they aren’t scared of anyone and Christian walks up. Matt tells him that they’ll kick his ass, so watch what he says. Luchasaurus walks up and the Bucks back down but then try to sucker punch him. Luchasaurus and Christian brawl with the Bucks and Cole into the arena.

The Bucks throw Christian off the stage and then slam Luchasaurus into the barricade. Jungle Boy appears on the stage and dives onto them! Christian Spears Matt on the stage and goes for an Unprettier but Nick kicks him in the face. Luchasaurus grabs the Bucks and then throws Matt into a Rana from Jungle Boy off the stage!

Luchasaurus Chokeslams Nick on top of Cole! Jungle Boy puts Cole in the Snare Trap! Christian hits a one-man Conchairto on Cole!

A video package highlights the upcoming Kris Statlander and Ruby Soho match in the TBS Title Tournament. Soho says that Statlander will be one of her toughest opponents but she’s confident.

AAA Tag Team Championships
FTR (c) w/Tully Blanchard vs. Samuray del Sol & Aerostar

This is the first time Aerostar and Samuray have teamed together as a tag team but they did work together in an 8-Man tag in AAA in 2012. Samuray is the former Kalisto of WWE. He was in AAA for several months before signing with WWE and was actually the first Octagon Jr., while Aerostar is a former multi-time AAA champion. This is both their debuts in AEW. Samuray starts off with Cash and Samuray shows off his athleticism as he hits a Back Handspring into a Rana. Dax comes in and eats a dropkick and FTR rolls to the floor.

Aerostar tags in along with Dax and Aerostar flips around pissing Dax off as he flips him off. Dax beats Aerostar down in the corner and then tags Cash in as they beat him down in the corner. Aerostar comes back with a crazy Tornillo out of the corner and tags Samuray. Aerostar lifts Samuray up into a dropkick knocking FTR to the floor. Samuray hits a beautiful Springboard Somersault Plancha onto Cash and Aerostar hits one of his own on Dax! In the ring, Aerostar goes up top goes for a Diving Double Rana but they block it and Snake Eyes him onto the top rope for a nearfall.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Aerostar hits a Somersault Plancha off the top onto Dax on the outside and then hits a Coffin Drop on Cash! Samuray tags in and hits a Flying Cross Body on Cash for two. Samuray flips over both FTR and then Aerostar divesin but they catch him only for Sol to hit a Double Missile Dropkick for two. Samuray hits a beautiful Rana on Dax and Aerostar hits a Diving Rana on Cash! They both pin FTR for a close nearfall! Darby Allin is shown watching in the rafters.

Aersotar hits a Body Scissors sending Dax to the floor as Sol goes for a Stunner on Cash. Cash goes for a Suplex but Sol counters into the Salida del Sol! Aerostar hits a Diving Splash for two! Sol goes for a Tope Suicida on Dax but he throws Sol into the barricade and then hits a Brainbuster! Aerostar hits a Victory Roll on Cash but Cash reverses it and holds the ropes for the pin!

Winners & STILL AAA Tag Champs: FTR via pinfall (rollup)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

The Inner Circle heads to the ring to pick which members of America Top Team will team with Men of the Year at Full Gear. Dan Lambert leads ATT onto the stage and he says he wants to leave this “shit stain city” as quickly as possible and asks Jericho to get it over as quickly as possible. Lambert runs off the members of ATT.

Hager selects Junior dos Santos and says he looks like Popeye. Santana selects Andrei Arlovski and mocks his Vampire teeth. Lambert says that Jericho had some nasty things to say about Paige VanZant and her husband Austin Vanderford wants him. Paige says she doesn’t need a man to fight for her but says that none of them have the balls to face her. She says she wants to fight all five of them at once and Jericho says that joke writes itself and says she could put that on her OnlyFans. The final member they pick is Dan Lambert and he freaks out.

Backstage, Tony interviews Matt Sydal, Lee Moriarty, Lio Rush and Dante Martin. He says that Lee is training with him now and they challenge Lio and Martin to a match. Lio Rush accepts the challenge.

TBS Championship Tournament First Round
Jamie Hayter w/Rebel & Dr. Britt Baker vs. Anna Jay

They lockup and Jay runs over Hayter before taking her down with a side headlock takeover. They exchange headscissors until Jay hits a back elbow. Hayter throws Jay to the floor and tries to whip her into the barricade but Jay reverses it. Back in the ring, Hayter kicks Jay in the face as she was climbing in.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Jay slams Hayter to the mat by her hair and then slams her into the turnbuckles before hitting a Flying Spin Kick in the corner. Jay hits a DDT for two. Jay puts Hayter in the Queen Slayer but Hayter counters only for Jay to go right back to it. Baker grabs her leg as Rebel distracted the referee. Hayter hits a big Lariat for the pin.

Winner: Hayter via pinfall (Lariat)

They continue to beat on Jay until Tay Conti runs out and cleans house! Finally, the numbers advantage gets the better of Conti and they beat her down, too. Britt goes to Curb Stomp Tay onto the title belt but Thunder Rosa runs out and the heels retreat.

Backstage, Smart Mark Sterling and Jade Cargill talk about the TBS Title Tournament. She says it doesn’t matter who faces her in the quarterfinals because she plans on making it short and sweet. She says the TBS Title will stand for “That Bitch Show.”

MJF walks out and says that when all these “fresh new faces” showed up in AEW everyone else in the back got nervous but not he and Darby Allin because they knew that not only where they pillars of AEW but they are future legends and all the fans know it. He asks why they boo him and cheer for Darby. He says they hate him because he is a symbol of everything the people wish they could be but can’t, while Allin is one of them. He calls Allin an “incel” and says he can barely string together four words like these people.

He says that Allin knows that he is not good enough to be a functioning member of society. He says that Allin will never fit in and never win. He says that once Allin steps foot in the ring he always lets his emotions get the better of him and becomes a glorified stuntman. He says Allin will lose to him because just like all the fans he is mentally weak.

Allin says he is an outcast but at Full Gear he will keep his composure at Full Gear and they will have a wrestling match because he’s letting his anger out right now. MJF says “too bad” and starts to leave but Sting puts a halt to that as he and a bunch of guys wearing MJF masks walk out. The Pinnacle attacks Sting and his guys as MJF and Allin start brawling into the crowd. Allin hits an insane Plancha that sends both men flying over the barricade. Allin then goes to the top rope for a Coffin Drop but MJF retreats.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

“La Sombra” Andrade el Idolo vs. “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes w/Arn Anderson

Andrade slaps the piss out of Cody and Cody responds with a big uppercut. Cody hits a series of right hands in the corner and then attempts to whip Andrade into the corner but Andrade reverses it and as Cody does his little spot where he flips over the top Andrade does the same thing and wags his finger at him. Cody sweeps Andrade’s leg on the apron and back in the ring Andrade dives off the top into a dropkick in midair from Rhodes.

Cody goes for the Cody Cutter but Andrade shoves him off the top to the floor.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Andrade hits the ropes but eats a series of forearms from Cody followed by a Running Powerslam. Cody goes for the Pedigree but Andrade blocks it and hits a Spinning Back Elbow for two. Andrade goes for a Flying Knee but Cody takes him out with a clothesline. Cody goes for CrossRhodes but Andrade counters into the Three Amigos. Cody blocks the third one but Andrade then suplexes him into the turnbuckles. Andrade hits the Meteora in the corner for two.

Andrade goes up top and attempts a Split Legged Moonsault but Cody rolls and Andrade lands on his feet. Cody hits a series of jabs and the Atomic Elbow. Cody hits the ropes but eats a Cartel Kick and then Andrade puts Cody in the Figure Four! Cody manages to roll over to reverse the hold forcing Andrade to release it.

Andrade rolls to the floor and Cody sets up for a dive but Andrade’s assistant gets on the apron only to eat a right from Arn. Cody goes for a Tope Suicida but FTR hits him in midair with the AAA Tag Titles in midair! They were hiding under the ring! Andrade rolls Cody in the ring and hits the La Sombra (Hammerlock DDT) for the pin!

Winner: Andrade via pinfall (La Sombra)

FTR and Andrade start beating Cody down after the match until Arn gets in the ring and it looks like he and Tully are about to fight! Lucha Brothers hit the ring and clean house!

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—

John Silver is out to cut a promo about his match with Adam Cole Friday. Silver mocks Cole and says maybe he could change his hair and his name and become their manager and maybe if he took his advice he wouldn’t have had his brains scrambled by Christian tonight.

Bryan Danielson joins the commentary team.

World Title Eliminator Semifinals
“The Redeemer” Miro vs. Orange Cassidy

Bryan Danielson acknowledges the bandage on Miro’s leg, foreshadowing maybe. Orange Cassidy’s ribs are also taped. Miro goes after OC to start but OC shows off his speed escaping him. Miro continues to chase him and OC goes for a Tope Suicida but Miro catches him and throws him into the stratosphere.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Miro throws OC into the turnbuckles and OC tries to fight out and dropkicks Miro into the turnbuckles. OC hits the Satellite DDT for two and then goes for the Orange Punch, but Miro ducks and rolls to the floor. OC goes up top and dives onto Miro with a Plancha sending both men crashing through the timekeepers table!

OC rolls back in the ring to try and get a countout but Miro dives into the ring before the 10-count can complete. OC goes for the Orange Punch but Miro catches him only for OC to escape and hit the Beach Break! 1…2…NO Miro kicks out! OC goes for the Orange Punch again but Miro flings him away and hits the Pump Kick! Miro puts OC in the Game Over and OC taps!

Winner: Miro via submission (Game Over)

Bryan Danielson comes to the ring and comes face-to-face with Miro and offers a handshake but Miro refuses.
