Trent Beretta vs. “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson

William Regal is on commentary. This is the first time these two have faced since 2011. Dragon and Beretta mat wrestle to start off Beretta matching Danielson move-for-move. Beretta sends Danielson out to the floor with a body scissors and then goes for a Plancha but Danielson kicks him in midair with a roundhouse. Danielson then goes for a Tope Suicida but Trent catches him and Suplexes him on the floor!  Trent charges at Danielson but he sidesteps him causing Beretta to crash into the ring steps.  

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Danielson hangs Beretta up over the ropes and starts taunting him leading to a pissed off Trent throwing a series of elbows at Dragon only for him to hit one of his own followed by a Butterfly Suplex. Danielson goes up top but Beretta cuts his legs out from under him. Beretta goes up and hits a big Superplex and both men are down.

They both get to their feet and exchange strikes. Danielson goes for an Enziguri but Trent ducks and hits a German Suplex. Trent hits a Flying Corner and goes for a Swinging DDT but Danielson blocks it and hits a Roaring Elbow followed by a Cradle Suplex for two. Danielson puts Trent in a Dragon Sleeper but Beretta manages to grab the bottom rope and break the hold.

Danielson hits a series of knee strikes and goes for a Cradle Piledriver, but Trent counters into a Strong Zero attempt. Danielson counters into a rollup for two but Trent reverses into a rollup for two. Trent ducks a Flying Dropkick attempt and hits the Swinging DDT out of the corner for two. Trentylocks lifts Dragon up to the top rope and attempts another Superplex but Danielson escapes and trips Beretta. Danielson goes back up and attempts a Side Superplex but Beretta counters into a Cross Body in midair for two.

Trent and Danielson exchange strikes again. Trent hits a Roaring Elbow and then a Half Nelson Suplex and a huge Lariat for a nearfall. Beretta knocks Danielson down to the mat with a series of forearms and then hits the ropes but runs right into the Flying Knee from Dragon. Danielson hits the Cradle Piledriver and then traps Trent’s arms and stomps Trent in the face repeatedly. Danielson locks Trent in a LaBell Lock and Trent taps.

Winner: Danielson via submission (LaBell Lock)

Lexie tries to interview HOOK backstage but he just ignores her. Danhause pops out of a trashcan and tries to curse him but HOOK just shoves him out of the way.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Dan Lambert and the Men of the Year are in the ring. Scorpio Sky says his decision to get rid of the TNT Title “open challenge” was a brave decision. He says he’s searching for someone to finally do what no one in over a year has been able to do, beat him. Sammy Guevara comes out and tells Sky to shut the hell up. Sammy says that the title doesn’t make the man, the man makes the title and the title means nothing around Sky’s waste.

Lambert says he’s here to save them from themselves and says that their mom and dad have experienced enough shame for a lifetime from them. He tells them to talk more about what they do in the ring and less about the bedroom. Ethan Page says that as a pillar in AEW he is one of the first cracks in the foundation and he calls he and Tay are a PR nightmare. Page says he prays that his daughter doesn’t end up like Tay but Sammy says he doesn’t give a shit about Page’s kid. Sammy says until he gets the match, he is going to continue to make their life a living hell. He tells them to wait and see what they have planned next week.

Chris Jericho names his Entertainer of the Week as QT Marshall.

Swerve Strickland vs. QT Marshall w/The Factory

Strickland hits a head scissors and an arm drag followed by a hip toss. Marshall tries to dump Swerve over the top but he flips and lands on his feet. Swerve hits a Pump Kick from the apron and then a Flying Axe Handle Drop off the apron.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

During the break, the referee kicked The Factory out from ringside after they interfered. Swerve hits a Flying Forearm and then leaps to the top and hits a Diving Back Elbow. Swerve goes for a Half Nelson but QT counters into a Rising Elbow. QT goes for the Diamond Cuter but Swerve blocks it and hits a Slingshot Dropkick and a Rolling Flatliner. Swerve hits House Call for the pin.

Winner: Swerve via pinfall (House Call)

Starks challenges Swerve to a tag match for Dynamite, Swerve & Keith Lee against Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs.

A vignette highlights Marina Shafir. She says, “Jade, I’m begging you to solve me.”

Minoru Suzuki will defend the ROH TV Title against Samoa Joe on Dynamite!

Owen Hart Cup Women’s Qualifying Match
Red Velvet vs. Willow Nightingale

Velvet and Willow got back and forth until Willow hits a Snap Suplex and a Backslash Senton for two. Willow goes for a Moonsault Press but Velvet moves out of the way and hits a series of kicks. Velvet hits Flying Knees and then the Just Desserts for a nearfall. Velvet comes off the ropes but Willow catches her in a Spinebuster for a close nearfall. Willow and Velvet exchange slaps and chops and then Willow kills Velvet with a huge POOOOOOOOUNCE…PERIOD! Willow hits a Cannonball Splash in the corner for two. Willow goes for a Brainbuster but Velvet counters into a Bacsktabber and then a Corkscrew Enziguri fro the pin.

Winner: Velvet via pinfall (Corkscrew Enziguri)

Mark Sterling offers his services to Tony Nese backstage.

Mark Henry interviews Moxley and Yuta. Yuta says that Moxley embarrassed him within a matter of minutes the first time they faced and the next time he came “this close” to beating him. Yuta says he isn’t scared of Moxley and tonight he’ll earn his respect. Moxley says it isn’t his job to show him respect and he doesn’t care what Regal thinks of Yuta. Moxley says this isn’t “pure rules” and his one job tonight is to spill his guts all over the mat and find out what Yuta is really made of.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Main Event
Wheeler Yuta vs. Jon Moxley

Yuta dives onto Moxley as he was walking to the ring and the fans lose it. Yutan ad Moxley brawl into the crowd as the match hasn’t officially begun. Yuta slams Moxley into the barricade and then they finally spill into the ring where a pissed off Moxley German Suplexes Yuta. Moxley hits a Vertical Suplex followed by a series of clotheslines and chops. Yuta tries to fight back but eats a Mafia Kick from Mox for a one count.

Moxley puts Yuta in a modified Cobra Clutch and then backdrops Yuta to the floor. Moxley Curb Stomps Yuta’s face into the ring steps and Yuta is busted open.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Yuta’s face is covered in blood. Moxley slaps Yuta repeatedly and Yuta tries to fight back but Moxley cuts him off and throws him to the floor. Yuta uses the ropes to roll himself back in and tosses Mox to the floor. Yuta hits a Plancha off the top onto Moxley sending them both crashing through a table! They both roll back into the ring and Yuta hits a Backslide for two followed by a Rolling German Suplex.

Moxley elbows out of a third Suplex and hits a Roaring Elbow but then misses the King Kong Lariat and eats a modified Olympic Slam! Yuta traps Moxley’s arms and starts stomping the shit out of him Bryan Danielson style. Yuta goes to the top and hits a Frog Splash for a nearfall. Yuta immediately goes into a Crossface but Moxley rolls him over into a nearfall.

Moxley hits the King Kong Lariat for another nearfall. Moxley starts biting Yuta’s head and then lifts up to the top rope only for Yuta to bite him back. Yuta headbutts Moxley and dives off the top right into a kick and the Paradigm Shift! 1…2…NO Yuta kicked out! Moxley puts Yuta in the Bulldog Choke but he refuses to tap out and bites his arm. Moxley hits a series of knees and then starts talking trash to Yuta. Moxley goes for a Flying Knee but Yuta rolls him up for two! Yuta locks in the Bulldog Choke!

Moxley lifts Yuta up but Yuta elbows him and puts him in a Rear Naked Choke. Moxley rolls backwards and starts elbowing Yuta in the face over and over. Moxley hits the Regal Knee followed by another Paradigm Shift! 1…2…NO Yuta kicks out again! A pissed off Mox locks Yuta in a Rear Naked Choke and Yuta passes out.

Winner: Moxley via KO (Rear Naked Choke)

Danielson and Regal walk out and the Blackpool Combat Club all surround him. Yuta gets up to his knee and screams at them that he’ll fight them all. Regal starts smiling and then offers him a handshake, which Yuta accempts.
