WWE removes Sasha Banks sign from 6/17 SmackDown image

WWE digitally removed a Sasha Banks reference from a fan’s sign that appeared on Friday night’s SmackDown. The sign can be seen in some videos that are online. The fan held up the sign that read “Sasha Krew 4 Life.” The altered image appears on the photo gallery that is on WWE’s website.

Banks and Naomi were suspended indefinitely by WWE after they walked out of the May 16 episode of Raw over feeling disrespected as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Both women were reportedly set to lose singles matches that week. The workout caused the six-pack challenge match scheduled on Raw for that night to have to be re-written.

According to a statement issued by, “they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk, and walked out.”

We had previously reported that Banks was released. However, WWE still has yet to confirm, or deny her release. According to a report by F4WOnline last Thursday, Banks’ lawyers were reportedly are working on getting her released.
