Multiple law firms seeking class action lawsuits against WWE

Five different law firms are seeking class action lawsuits against WWE.

Each firm is seeking WWE shareholders who have suffered a loss. The law firms have all issued their own separate press releases. The names of each law firm, and a link to their press releases can be found below, courtesy of Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

Each lawsuit comes after WWE’s Board of Directors announced last Wednesday they are investigating a $3 million settlement Vince McMahon agreed to pay to a former employee who he allegedly had an affair with. The Wall Street Journal is calling it a ‘hush pact.’

We previously reported that WWE issued a memo to talent Monday night following Raw announcing that Bruce Prichard is the Interim Head of Talent Relations going forward.

The report also notes WWE also informed talents that while the Board of Directors continue their internal investigation, John Laurinaitis has been placed on administrative leave. It was further stated in the memo that it has been promised that Prichard will provide a “seamless transition.”
