WWE has apparently edited out Sasha Banks from a segment of Paige’s Top 10 moments in Paige’s WWE career.
Moment #5 in the original segment (which you can watch above) from 2017, features Paige’s return from neck surgery in 2017, forming the Absolution faction with then newcomers Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. Banks and James are both seen around the 1:50 mark.
In the same segment from 2017, which can be seen in the new video below (Paige’s top 10 moments) – the 3:04 mark only shows James in the ring, as Banks has been completely cut out.
Paige (real name Saraya-Jade Bevis posted a column to the Player’s Tribune this past Wednesday saying goodbye WWE. She had been with the company since 2011. Bevis revealed last month that the company chose not to renew her contract.
We reported this past week that both Sasha Banks and Naomi are reportedly no longer listed on the internal WWE roster. There has also been reports that Banks’ lawyers were working on obtaining a release from WWE for her.
WWE had previously digitally removed a Sasha Banks reference from a fan’s sign that appeared on the June 17 episode of Friday Night’s SmackDown. The fan held up the sign that read “Sasha Krew 4 Life.” The altered image had originally appeared in the photo gallery on WWE’s website.
Banks and Naomi walked out on the May 16 episode of WWE Raw after a disagreement with over creative plans. It was on the May 20 episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole announced Banks and Naomi had been suspended indefinitely, and that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships had been vacated. Merchandise for both women has also been pulled from WWEShop.com.
