Cody Rhodes responded to a fan on Twitter to confirm he did not leave AEW because of the Young Bucks or CM Punk. He further notes he has no issues with Punk or the Young Bucks.
Since Cody left AEW this past February and officially returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38, there has been much speculation and rumors on the reasons as to why he left AEW for WWE.
Rhodes has said several times since his departure from AEW that he will remain quiet on the reasons as to why he left the company he helped start. He has also said repeatedly that he has nothing but respect for Kenny Omega, the Bucks, and Tony Khan.
There has been reports which have surface that Punk has been “voted out” of AEW with many talent unwilling to work with him.
Rhodes is currently out of action with a torn pectoral injury. It is not known exactly how long he will be out.
