Update On WWE Crown Jewel As Saudi Arabia Warned Of Imminent Iranian Attack

Saudi Arabia is said to be on high alert

WWE is said to be moving forward with Crown Jewel as scheduled, despite threats of a potential war between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday how Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with the United States, warning of what is said to be an imminent attack from Iran on targets that are inside Saudi Arabia. The WSJ report also states that Saudi and U.S. officials, the United States military and others in the Middle East are on an elevated alert level.

In response to the warning, Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and several other neighboring countries have raised the level of alert for their military forces, according to officials.

Reuters is reporting the United States is concerned about the threats from Iran against Saudi Arabia. Reuters further notes that according to the White House, the U.S. will not hesitate to respond if necessary.

The Wrestling Observer reported on Tuesday that WWE Crown Jewel is still taking place as scheduled, However, WWE officials are closely monitoring the situation.
