John Cena to play the voice of Rocksteady in new animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Film

According to Variety, John Cena will play the voice of Rocksteady in the new upcoming CGI-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie. The film is scheduled for a nationwide release in theaters on released in theaters on Friday, August 4.

Jackie Chan will play the voice of Splinter.

The trailer will be released this coming Monday, which is the same day John Cena makes his return to WWE Raw, live on the USA Network from TD Garden in Boston, MA.

The official synopsis of the movie is as follows:

“In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
