Jeff Hardy says in promo on AEW Rampage he’s retiring from “screwing up” (Video)

During a segment on Saturday night’s special episode of AEW Rampage, Jeff Hardy spoke on his AEW career. At one point in the promo as the crowd chanted “welcome back”, Jeff said the smartest thing for him to do is retire, as the crowd began to boo. Jeff then said it’s time for him retire from screwing up. He went on to tell the crowd that he promises to end his career in AEW on a high note.

As Jeff moved on to talk about “The Firm Deletion” match, Stokley Hathaway appeared on the big screen to talk to Jeff and said that his calls and emails were not being returned by Jeff and that he was going to be the better man. The Firm then entered the ring and took out Matt, Jeff, Kassidy and Hook, in a from behind sneak attack.
