WWE Hall of Famer reportedly scheduled to be at SmackDown and Raw

According to PWInsider Elite, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long is scheduled to be at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX for Friday’s SmackDown.

Friday’s episode is the start of the 2023 Draft, which will then continue on Monday’s Raw, live from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX. The report also notes that Long is also booked for Monday’s Raw.

It is not known if Long is only coming to help with draft picks for Raw and SmackDown, or if he is starting a new run with WWE.

Long served as the on-screen General Manager for SmackDown. He was released from his WWE contract back on June 12, 2014. He was part of the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Class in 2017.

The 75-year-old has made special appearances for WWE since 2014. Long last appeared at Raw 30 this past January, when he booked a six-man match with Seth Rollins and The Street Profits vs. Imperium after Imperium disrespected WWE Hall of Famers DX, during the DX reunion segment. Rollins and the Street Profits won the match.
