WWE is bringing a premium live event (PPV) to Indianapolis, Indiana for the first time in seven years.
During Tuesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Paul Heyman announced that Fastlane is set to take place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, October 7.
This will be the first time since the 2016 WWE Clash of Champions, that the company will hold a premium live event (PPV) in Indianapolis.
WWE also announced the news on their Twitter and website.
Tickets for WWE Fastlane go on sale Friday, July 14 at 10:00 am ET.
Seth Rollins was originally supposed to McAfee’s guest. However, Heyman took Rollins’ place due to Rollins preparing to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on tonight’s episode of NXT.
Fastlane last took place back on March 21, 2021. It was held at the ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The previous Fastlane events were held before WrestleMania.
McAfee and his show are based out of Indianapolis.
