7/21 WWE SmackDown draws highest viewership ever on FS1 in Fast Nationals

According to Sports TV Ratings, Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, which aired this week on FS1, drew 1.182 million viewers in the Fast Nationals. Friday night’s show aired on FS1, due to FOX’s live coverage of the World Cup.

Sports TV Ratings also noted that viewership for Friday night’s SmackDown on FS1 is up 31 percent compared to the last time the show aired on the sports cable network. In the key 18-49 demographic, SmackDown drew 448,000 viewers, which is up 37 percent from the last episode that aired on FS1.

The final numbers will be released on Monday.

The last time SmackDown aired on FS1, was back on December 2, 2022. That episode drew 902,000 viewers.

When WWE Friday Night SmackDown returns to FOX next week, the show will feature Rey Mysterio taking on fellow LWO member Santos Escobar. Mysterio won the Fatal Four-Way match on this past Friday night’s show to advance on to the finals of the United States Title Invitational. The winner earns a future title opportunity for the US Championship, currently held by Austin Theory.

The other match advertised for next week is Karrion Kross vs. Karl Anderson of The OC.

The July 28 episode of WWE SmackDown will take place from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
