WWE reportedly pushing back on usage of popular Jey Uso phrase

PWInsider has reported that the phrase “Yeet,” as made popular in WWE by Jey Uso, is now being pushed back by the company after issues with obtaining a trademark.

Per the report, independent wrestler Kasey Scott Huffman currently owns the trademark for the term, filed in June 2021 for purposes of goods and services.

The phrase found its way into WWE recently due to the then-Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion making the remark during a press conference following WWE Fastlane, when he and Cody Rhodes defeated Judgment Day for the titles.
