Tony Schiavone announced on Wednesday’s AEW Control Center that Jim Ross will be making his return at tonight’s Dynamite Holiday Bash, live from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
The WWE Hall of Famer took an extended leave from AEW to deal with a number of health issues, which included diabetes and a wound on his leg that had not healed correctly after radiation treatment for skin cancer.
As of this writing, AEW is advertising the following for tonight’s show, which per Tony Khan on social media will have a five-minute overrun.
-Continental Gold League Match: Mark Briscoe vs Jay Lethal
-Continental Gold League Match: Jon Moxley vs Jay White
-Continental Gold League Match: Swerve Strickland vs RUSH
-Saraya vs Riho. The winner will go on to challenge Toni Storm for the Women’s World Title at World’s End
-Roderick Strong vs Komander
-MJF and Samoa Joe segment
