The former WWE Champion made his return to WWE during the Day 1 episode of Raw, which took place on January 1.
It was back in September 2022 that The Rock told Pat McAfee, when appearing on his show, that he and Roman Reigns were “locked in” to wrestle at WrestleMania 39. However, according to The Rock what had prevented the match from happening was they were unable to determine what could be done with the story that would lead to something bigger.
