Earlier on Thursday, @wrestlevotes reported that WWE is likely to announce sometime prior to WrestleMania 41 that New Orleans will be the host city for WrestleMania 42 in 2026.
In an update, Fightful Select notes that it is believed that the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, which held this year’s NFL Superbowl, will host next year’s WrestleMania. It was also added that holding WrestleMania in New Orleans has reportedly been in the planning stages for several years.
Furthermore, it was said that partners of WWE also believe that the plan is to go with New Orleans in 2026, unless plans change.
New Orleans was the host city for WrestleMania 30 and 34.
For those that might be wondering about the previous announcement for WrestleMania to be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, WWE noted the venue that is home to the NFL’s Colt’s will host the big two-night event in the future, with no date given.
