Wrestleview is sad to report that ECW legend Sabu (real name Terrance Brunk), has passed away at age 60.
Sabu wrestled his retirement match on April 18, 2025, at Game Changer Wrestling’s Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9 event in Las Vegas against Janela.
Sabu was a three-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion and also wrestled for various other promotions throughout his career, including WWE, WCW, TNA and AEW. He was the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer, The Sheik.
At the time of his passing, no cause of death was available.
