R-Truth has taken to social media announcing that he has been released from WWE. Truth notes that his contract is not being renewed, ending his 17-year run with the company.
According to Fightful Select and PWInsider, this is legitimate and not a work from Truth.
Truth most recently took losses to Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena on the May 24 episode of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and JC Mateo on last Friday’s SmackDown.
