WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio made an unannounced appearance at Friday’s Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide Alianzas event at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
A hooded and masked person hit the ring, attacking Dragon Lee and Hijo del Vikingo after their match. Following the attack, Dominik revealed himself as the attacker. He then took to the mic, saying he came to Mexico not to cause trouble, but came for championship gold.
The August 16 AAA Mega Championship Match at TripleMania, will now see Hijo del Vikingo defend against Dragon Lee, El Grande Americano, and Dominik Mysterio.
Dominik is scheduled to defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles at Night Two of SummerSlam at Met-Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
