According to a new report from PWInsider Elite, Santos Escobar has reportedly re-signed with WWE.
The report notes that it is believed WWE and Escobar have come to terms on a new contract just days after his previous contract expired. It was also said WWE offered Escobar a much larger financial number that what he was presented during the recent negotiations and also noted his creative concerns as part of the new deal.
PWInisder wrote the following in their report:
“We are told that WWE management considered Escobar’s concerns and, we are told, made Escobar a sizeably larger offer than any of their previous overtures. At that point, Escobar agreed to terms. The belief is they came to terms late yesterday.”
Escobar’s profile has been moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s website on Tuesday. He last wrestled at the Mexico Supershows on July 26 and 27.
