AEW held a special Title Tuesday episode this week, due to TBS airing live coverage of the Major League Baseball Playoffs.
Title Tuesday went head-to-head with the NXT Showdown on the CW, which featured stars from TNA Wrestling.
The winner goes to NXT for the night with 625,000 viewers and a 0.12 rating. Up from the previous week’s episode that had 525,000 viewers and a 0.10 rating. Over on TBS, AEW’s Title Tuesday special came in with 321,000 viewers and a 0.07 rating.
Nielson recently changed it’s ratings methodology. The New Nielsen ratings are now based on its Big Data + Panel methodology, which integrates data from its traditional viewing panel with big data from set-top boxes and smart TVs. Nielsen had said this new system provides more comprehensive viewership figures that include streaming.
